Who We Are
Betmanbegins is a compact team of developers, designers and content people. We build and run our own products, which means we are used to owning a system after launch rather than handing it over and walking away.
That product background shapes how we work for clients too: short lines, few hand-offs, and a preference for something working in production over something perfect on paper.
What matters to us
Understand before we build
We first make sure we understand the problem before we start building a solution.
Show progress early
We don't spend months planning. We prefer to show something early, get feedback and improve from there.
Use the right technology
We use AI and new technology when it adds real value, not just because it's new.
You own what we build
The code, data and infrastructure are yours. We build software that your business can rely on and continue to develop.
Our Team
Michiel Mertes
Co-founder
Michiel is the first person you speak to about a new project. He turns a rough idea into a scope our team can estimate, build and deliver without surprises halfway through.
Nicolas Dewulf
Co-founder
Nicolas oversees client relations and design. He keeps projects on track and makes sure what we ship looks and feels like a finished product, not a prototype.
Damy de Jong
Head of Development
Damy has 10+ years of development experience and owns the technical direction of every project: architecture, code quality and the choices that keep a system maintainable.
Shannon Goemaere
Frontend Developer
Shannon combines a sharp design eye with strong technical execution. She builds the interfaces users actually touch, on web and mobile alike.
Mark Vedder
Backend Developer
Mark builds the robust foundations that power every feature: APIs, data models and the integrations that connect your system to everything around it.
Gert Duelen
Head of Content
Gert makes sure the words in a product are clear for the user and in line with your tone of voice.
April Beturin
Designer
April turns requirements into something people can actually use: interface design, visual identity and the details that decide whether a product feels finished.
